Our story
Cut for the Rink, Worn Everywhere
Toward the end of the seventies, roller rinks across the country dimmed the lights, hung a mirror ball, and became discos on wheels. Skate night had its own uniform: high-waisted shorts, tube socks to the knee, and on top, a ringer with a band of color at the neck and sleeves or a short, close-fitting baby tee.
Those two shirts weren't an accident. A skater's arms never stop moving, and a tee that rides up or twists at the shoulders is a hand that isn't helping you stay upright. So that's what we stock, and we check every neck band, shoulder seam, and sleeve band before it ships from Seymour, Connecticut.
